Every year millions of non-recyclable energy bar wrappers end up in our landfills. In response to this tremendous waste of resources, TerraCycle, along with founding sponsor Clif Bar and sponsor Balance Bar, is committed to finding a new use for used wrappers. As an eco-friendly innovator, TerraCycle is going to convert the used wrappers into unique accessories and other upcycled products.
Once your request to join the Energy Bar Brigade has processed, TerraCycle will ship four postage-paid collection bags to your address. Once a bag is filled with 200 wrappers, all you have to do is seal it and drop it off at a UPS drop-off location.
Thanks to the generous support of founding sponsor Clif Bar and sponsor Balance Bar, $.02 will be donated to the non-profit organization or school of your choice for each approved wrapper you collect. If you do not have a charity in mind, you can choose from our list of charities!

All energy, granola, nutrition, cereal and protein bars with an inner foil lining are acceptable - examples of approved wrappers are included below. We cannot accept wrappers that do not have the foil lining or candy wrappers.
